Shot in 1964 in his 1,100 square foot basement in Topanga, CA, Mandala was Gumby creator, Art Clokey’s most ambitious stop motion film. The short film’s abstract nature and spiritually-aware subtext were quite a departure from his work on Davey and Goliath. And I’m not sure the evolution of consciousness ever looked so good.YouTube Link
