Fiona Banner: Harrier and Jaguar

Fiona Banner is quite simply a brilliant communicator. Although known mostly for her fantastic typographic works and sculptures, her artistic output isn’t limited to a single medium. A perfect example of that would be her breathtaking installation Harrier and Jaguar currently on show at the Tate Britain’s Duveen Galleries. To the layman, she has dumped two decommissioned jets in a unique setting, but to many more she has created something truly beautiful and captivating. You must see this, and while you’re at it Rachel Whiteread’s drawings downstairs are also well worth your time.www.tate.org.ukwww.fionabanner.com
