Cneai / MultiplesAu premier étage, La Boutique Cneai est un salon des multiples du cneai. Elle donne un aperçu étendu de la collection constituée d’environ 500 œuvres, toutes produites par le Cneai.Cent quatre-vingt-dix auteurs ont déjà été invités à questionner cette catégorie artistique et ont créé des pièces aussi diverses que des gravures, objets, livres d’artistes, magazines, DVD, logiciels… Toutes relèvent néanmoins des problématiques allant du statut de l’auteur à la notion d’authenticité, de l’intention médiatique à a notion de réseau, du principe de production à la notion de stock, de l’appropriation à la citation ou au plagiat, toutes posent la question du devenir de l’œuvre. On the first floor, La Boutique cneai is a lounge space giving a thorough insight into the art center’s multiples’ collection. The 500 artworks have all been produced by Cneai.One hundred and eighty six creators had already been invited to question this artistic category, and had produced three hundred and ten pieces: etchings, objects, artist books, magazines, dvd’s, software… They treat a problematic ranging from questions about the status of a creator to the notion of authenticity, the intention of mediatisation to the notion of a network, he principal of production to the notion of stock, of appropriation to quotation or plagiarism; they all pose the question of the “becoming” of the art work. ///Cneai / E
