Alec Soth has his own Wikipedia page (!) on which it says: “his photography has a cinematic feel with elements of folklore that hint at a story behind the image.” This is the truth. Also true: these are photographs that reveal loneliness in one hundred different (and not always totally depressing) ways, and we should all stare at them.
